«In the mist of cities» is a documentary photography project about Chinese contemporary cities.

Starting with the question: what stands behind the mist?, we aim to draw a subjective portrait of Chinese urban life through landscapes, architecture, street life, colours and patterns.

The authors

Camille Baudelaire is a space and graphic designer. Graduated from ESAIG Estienne, ESAA Duperré, and ENSAD in Paris, she mainly collaborates with contemporary art actors on editing projects and with directors for set design. website here.

Nicolas Bouisson holds a MSc in Engineering and a MSc in Architecture from Malaquais School of Architecture in Paris. Speaking Mandarin, he is specialized on Chinese urban planning and architectural issues. His final thesis focuses on the recent development of Chongqing megalopolis.In 2014 he started his own Paris-based practice, Forall studio, in partnership with two architects, Hugo Crespy et Julien Pilon (www.forallstudio.com).
